What is The BLOC
The Bloc is an online community hub created by The Shades Project STL specifically for Queer and Trans People of Color. We recognize that QTPOC experiences are shaped by multiple identities and social factors, and we’ve built this space to celebrate that intersectionality.
Our mission is simple: to create a digital sanctuary where you can express your authentic self, connect with others who share your experiences, and access resources tailored to your needs—all without judgment or explanation.
Building on the success of our F.A.B. (Finding Allies Through Ballroom) and KIKI Street initiatives, The Bloc takes our community support to the next level by creating a permanent digital home for our vibrant community.
